BUFFALO THUNDER GOWN
BUFFALO THUNDER GOWN
Created specifically for a fashion show at the Charles Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana, this gown tells the story of the famous Indian legend of the White Buffalo Maiden. It epitomizes who I am as a designer.
There are well over one hundred hours of intensive labor in these pieces. The blending and strategically placing the white deer hides, exquisite beaded lace and Mongolian fur was a challenge to say the least. The finished design was worth every painstaking minute!!!
Both jacket and skirt are in pristine condition except for the underside of the gown skirt. It is slightly soiled from walking the runway and being photographed at the San Felipe de Neri church in Albuquerque. The reduced price reflects this.
