SAPPHIRE...A blue gemstone of high value. In the Old Testament, the sapphire received frequent mention for it's relationship to a universal intelligence. It was honored as a stone of prophecy and wisdom and even called the philosopher's stone and the gem of the soul.

This gorgeous peplum jacket was created from metallic sapphire leather, sequin lace from South Africa and the richest of navy blue shearling. It is magical in the way the sequin fabric changes colors. Sometimes it looks more copper and sapphire and others more sapphire and lavender. Copper metal arrowheads and hand cut fringe pieces have been added to the sleeves for a touch of drama and a bit of a southwestern vibe. Definitely, this jacket will turn heads.
